Chiropractic care is evolving and technology plays a big role in our clinic. Dr. Lopez uses advanced state-of-the-art technology through SpineAlign that assists him with computerized visual data so Dr. Lopez can educate and provide a precise diagnosis for his patients. Once he has made his diagnosis, Dr. Lopez then performs very comfortable adjustments with the SpineAlign system without the need for the “twisting” and “cracking” that many people associate with manual chiropractic adjustments. Not only has the SpineAlign revolutionized chiropractic adjustments, it has taken fear and anxiety away from people who are uncomfortable with manual manipulation.

DryHydro Massage Therapy
DryHydro Massage Therapy is a dry water massage bed that uses strategically placed rotating jets of warm water that the patient can control by adjusting the jets to focus on one body part or any sequence of body parts, adjusting the water intensity from gentle to deep tissue and the travel speed of the jets allowing the patient to customize their massage.
Spinal Decompression
Spinal Decompression is primarily used to treat disc injuries in the neck and low back. This technique unloads the vertebrae by gently separating them from each other.
This pull causes a vacuum inside the discs and encourages herniated or bulging discs off the nerve root, the cal sac or both. This happens only microscopically each time, but after consistent regularly scheduled visits the results are quite dramatic. The cycles of decompression over a series of visits promote the diffusion of water, oxygen and nutrient rich fluids from the outside of the discs to the inside and enable the torn and degenerated disc fibers to heal. Spinal Decompression not only significantly reduces or eliminates back pain but also enables the majority of patients to return to their activities that they gave up due to back pain.
Laser Therapy
Laser Therapy uses red and infrared light for the relief of pain, to accelerate healing and decrease inflammation. When the light source is placed against the skin, the photons penetrate several centimeters and get absorbed by the mitochondria, the energy producing part of the cell. This energy fuels physiological responses resulting in the healing and restoration of normal cell function. Laser Therapy is used to treat many musculoskeletal problems including sprains, strains, arthritis and sports injuries.
Cryotherapy (Ice Therapy)
Cryotherapy is a pain treatment that Dr. Lopez uses often in conjunction with other treatments. The primary reason for cryotherapy is to lower the temperature of the injured tissue, which reduces the tissue’s metabolic rate, reduces inflammation, decreases swelling, decreases muscle spasms and pain. The Cryotherapy unit in our office blows cold air which provides equally effective and precise treatment to the affective area without the need for water or ice packs.

Compression Hose and Stockings
Compression stockings are special socks that improve circulation in the leg veins and prevent blood from pooling in the legs. By improving circulation in the veins of the legs, compression stockings can prevent blood clots and relieve symptoms from varicose veins such as swelling, aching and pain.
It is not uncommon to see athletes use compression socks to improve performance. The compression socks provide an increased venous blood flow resulting in quicker removal of by-products that can cause fatigue. Compression socks can improve performance and recovery in athletes.
Compression socks come in a large range of colours, fabrics and styles to look like regular socks.
