The primary reason for using Cryo6 is to lower the temperature of the injured tissue, which reduces the tissue’s metabolic rate, reduces inflammation, decreases swelling, decreases muscle spasms, and pain.
Our Zimmer Cryo6 unit blows cold air (-20°C) which provides equally effective and precise treatment to the affective area without the need for water or ice packs. The high power output enables a quick decrease of the superficial skin temperature thus providing the desired treatment effect.
